Prof. Dr. Nasima Akhtar is the Professor of Otolaryngology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Her primary clinical specialties include all types of middle ear microsurgery, as well as stapedotomy, ossiculoplasty, cochlear implants, and management of deafness. She is Bangladesh's first female colleague and sole female cochlear implant surgeon. Academician Prof. Nasima is committed to otolaryngology training and education.
