Dr. Swaroop is an experienced oncologist specializing in both radiation oncology and medical oncology. He obtained his MBBS degree from Bangalore Medical College in 2006 and underwent training in radiation therapy and clinical oncology at the Regional Cancer Centre in Shimla. He further expanded his qualifications by achieving MRCP-SCE-Medical Oncology from the Royal College of Physicians, UK, and DM-Medical Oncology from RGUHS, Bangalore. Recognized as a 'Subject Expert in Oncology' by the ICCREEE in 2017, Dr. Swaroop received the esteemed 'Young Oncologist of the Year Award' in 2020 from the Indian Society of Medical & Pediatric Oncology (ISMPO-TYSA) through a nation-wide selection process. In 2017, he also obtained certification in thoracic oncology from the University of Michigan and was selected for a prestigious preceptorship in Immuno-Oncology in Singapore in 2019. With over 15,000 patients treated since 2009, Dr. Swaroop has demonstrated his commitment to providing care for individuals with various types of cancer. He has also played a vital role as a teacher, imparting knowledge to numerous medical students across the country.
