Dr. Spina Luna Biswas earned her BDS degree from Dhaka Dental College in 2004 and began practicing dentistry at National Dental Care in Dhaka the following year. After obtaining her FCPS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2012, she became an Associate Professor at Sapporo Dental College & Hospital in Uttara, Dhaka. Dr. Luna has received specialized training in Implant Dentistry, Facial Deformity, and Oral Reconstruction Surgery in South Korea, Japan, and Sri Lanka. She is a skilled Oral Surgeon who performs surgeries on the mouth, jaws, and related head and neck structures, including difficult and multiple tooth extractions, tumor removal, and jaw revision surgery. Dr. Luna is also experienced in performing minor cosmetic procedures such as chin and cheek-bone enhancements and minor facial rejuvenation procedures. Additionally, she provides emergency treatment for facial injuries and is skilled in the removal of tumors and other abnormal growths in the oral and facial regions. She has a particular interest in the Dredging Method, a conservative surgical procedure for odontogenic tumors, and is highly experienced in cleft lip and palate repair surgery, crown and bridgework of teeth, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants.
