Dr. Govil received her medical qualifications, including MBBS (1985), DMRD (1992), and DNB Radiology (1995), from the Christian Medical College Vellore. She then went on to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists, UK (FRCR) in 1999, where she gained valuable experience from renowned hospitals such as St. Mary's Hospital, University College Hospital, Central Middlesex Hospital (London), and the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. She is currently Senior Advisor Radiology Quality, Education & Business Development at Naruvi Hospitals in Vellore. Additionally, she holds appointments as Adjunct Associate Professor at Pun Hlaing Hospital in Myanmar, Adjunct Associate Professor at Christian Medical College Vellore, reviewer for IRI and IVIR, and founder member of the Governing Council, ISGAR from 2016-2019. She is also a reviewer for RSNA Quality Improvement Abstracts and served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Gl and Abdominal Radiology (JGAR) from 2016-2018. Her special interests include Abdominal Imaging, Radiology Education, Teleradiology, Quality Control, and Artificial Intelligence.
