Dr. Partha Sarathi Mandal is a Senior Consultant specialising in Internal Medicine and Diabetology at Manipal Hospitals, Broadway, Kolkata. Having worked extensively in India and the UK for more than thirty years, Dr Mandal has made a name for himself in his field. After graduating from Calcutta National Medical College with an MBBS, he went on to Rajendra Medical College in Ranchi to earn an MD in general medicine. After five years of working in several hospitals throughout the UK, he furthered his skills by earning his MRCP(UK) in 1998. It was at this time that he also developed a strong interest in managing diabetes. The FRCP (Edinburgh) was later given to Dr. Mandal in appreciation of his work and knowledge.
