Dr. Backiaraj has 10 years of experience in the field of Spine Surgery, specializing in Endoscopic Spine Surgery. He obtained his M.S. (Orthopaedics) degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and completed a spine surgery fellowship at Jain Institute of Spine Care and Research, Bangalore. He then pursued an advanced fellowship in Spine Surgery and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery at Spine Center, Diakonie-Klinikum Stuttgart, Germany. He spent over 5 years as an associate professor teaching post-graduate trainees the art of spine surgery. Dr. Backiaraj has extensive experience in treating complex spine problems including scoliosis, and is particularly interested in Minimally Invasive & Endoscopic Spine Surgery.
