Dr. Md Saief Uddin, a pioneering hepatobiliary, pancreatic and liver transplant surgeon from Bangladesh, has been working in this field since 2001. He graduated from Chittagong Medical College. He remains interested in the field after completing his internship. He currently serves as Associate Professor of BPH and Liver Transplant Surgery in the Department of BPH and Liver Transplantation Surgery at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka and Chief Consultant of the Pancreatic and Hepatobiliary Department at Al Hospital -Manar Hospital Ltd, Satmosjhid Road, Dhaka . To pursue further studies in this field, he received a Fellowship in General Surgery (FCPS) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons and obtained his FRCS degree from the Royal College of Surgeons. family.
