Urine C/S for Anerobic
The Urine C/S for Anaerobic test is used to identify anaerobic bacteria in the urinary tract that may be causing an infection. A urine sample is collected and cultured in an environment that supports the growth of anaerobic bacteria. No special preparation is typically required. Risks include mild discomfort during collection. A positive result indicates the presence of anaerobic bacteria, guiding targeted antibiotic treatment, while negative results may suggest other types of infections.
