Toxo - IgG
The Toxo IgG test detects antibodies against Toxoplasma gondii, indicating past exposure to the parasite. It is often used in pregnant women or immunocompromised individuals to assess the risk of toxoplasmosis. No special preparation is required, and a blood sample is drawn from a vein. Risks are minimal, such as mild discomfort or bruising at the site. A positive result suggests previous infection, while a negative result means no prior exposure. Medications or recent infections may affect results. Normal activities can resume after the test.1400 BDT
