Prof. Dr. Brigadier General Md Liakat Ali Hyder is an accomplished Dental Surgeon and Orthodontist with over 33 years of clinical and administrative experience in both civilian and military healthcare institutions. He currently serves as a Consultant in Dental Surgery & Orthodontics at Square Hospitals Ltd. and previously held the role of Consultant Dental Surgeon General at the Directorate General of Medical Service, Ministry of Defence, Dhaka Cantonment. In addition to his extensive service record, he has gained international exposure through United Nations missions in Liberia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Prof. Dr. Hyder holds a Fellowship from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons and has successfully completed MMEd from BSMMU, Dhaka.
