Service Providers for Priorix (MMR)
Priorix is a vaccine that provides protection against three viral diseases: measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR). It contains live, attenuated (weakened) viruses for each of these diseases. The vaccine is typically administered as a shot, often given in childhood, with the first dose around 12–15 months of age and a second dose between 4–6 years. The purpose of Priorix is to prevent these contagious diseases, which can cause severe complications, particularly in children. Side effects are generally mild, such as soreness at the injection site or a mild fever. Rarely, severe reactions like allergic reactions may occur.
