Service Providers for MRI of P. N. S.
An MRI of the PNS (Paranasal Sinuses) is a diagnostic procedure that uses magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of the sinuses located around the nose, including the frontal, maxillary, ethmoid, and sphenoid sinuses. This scan is commonly used to evaluate conditions such as sinusitis, infections, tumors, cysts, or structural abnormalities in the nasal passages or sinus cavities. No special preparation is typically required, but you may be asked to remove metal objects. During the procedure, you will lie still in the MRI machine for 20-30 minutes. The scan is painless, and after the procedure, you can resume normal activities. A radiologist will interpret the results.
