Service Providers for Digital X-Ray of Sternum AP & Lateral View
A Digital X-Ray of the Sternum in AP (Anteroposterior) and Lateral views is performed to assess the breastbone (sternum) for fractures, infections, tumors, or abnormalities. In the AP view, the X-ray beam is directed from the front of the chest, while in the Lateral view, the beam passes from the side. The patient may be asked to stand or lie down, and any metal objects should be removed. The procedure is quick, non-invasive, and involves minimal radiation exposure. Results are reviewed by a radiologist to detect any issues with the sternum, ribs, or nearby structures.
