Service Providers for Digital X-Ray of Sternum AP, Lat & Oblique View
A Digital X-Ray of the Sternum in AP (Anteroposterior), Lat (Lateral), and Oblique views is used to evaluate the sternum for fractures, abnormalities, or other pathologies. In the AP view, the X-ray beam is directed from the front, in the Lat view from the side, and in the Oblique view, the patient is rotated slightly to provide a more comprehensive view of the sternum and adjacent structures. The patient is typically asked to stand or lie down, removing any metal objects. This non-invasive procedure involves minimal radiation. Results are analyzed by a radiologist to assess bone integrity and identify any issues.
