Service Providers for CA 15-3

CA 15-3 (Cancer Antigen 15-3) is a protein found in the blood that is primarily used as a tumor marker for monitoring breast cancer. Elevated levels of CA 15-3 may indicate the presence of breast cancer or recurrence, especially in advanced stages. However, it can also be elevated in non-cancerous conditions such as liver disease, benign breast conditions, or ovarian cancer. The CA 15-3 test is not used for initial cancer diagnosis but rather for tracking the progression or recurrence of breast cancer in patients already diagnosed.
