Service Providers for Anti HBe

The Anti-HBe test measures the presence of antibodies against the hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg), a component of the hepatitis B virus (HBV). The presence of Anti-HBe generally indicates that the person has developed immunity to HBV, either due to a resolved infection or through vaccination. In chronic hepatitis B infection, the presence of Anti-HBe might signal a low level of viral replication or inactive infection. The test is performed with a blood sample, and risks are minimal, generally limited to slight discomfort during the blood draw. Positive results may indicate a less contagious phase of infection.
